Driving through the city last night, seeing the beginnings of Christmas being erected, the trees with their glittery lights, the london eye lit up beautifully ascending into the night sky, the sparkly winter shop window displays in Victoria. It gave me a pang of excitement, a longing for winter, with it’s scarves & wraps, party dresses and festive gold and silver decorations. Christmas trees that are almost triumphant with pride & beauty. I never realised just how much I love it.
